My Story

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/generic. You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/. Dog's Name: Liberty (LIB1124OWSFS) Estimated Breed: Rottweiler / Black & Tan Coonhound Mix Approximate Age: 3-4 years Approximate Weight: 70 lbs Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Looking for the perfect pup? Look no further! Liberty is a sweet mama who has raised 8 healthy puppies and now it's her turn to be spoiled. One look at this lady and she'll steal your heart with her sweet soulful eyes. She is super friendly and loves everyone she meets, including her own kind. Not only that, she is housebroken, very well behaved and good on leash. Liberty is medium energy and likes her outings, but she also knows how to relax and settles down nicely. Adopting Liberty means gaining a forever friend who will bring endless happiness and unconditional love into your life. So what are you waiting for? Fill out an application today and meet this amazing girl in person! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
