My Story

Hi, I'm Lila. I'm a sweet, precious little girl. I weigh about 50+lbs but am a little chubby. I'm short and am compact. I could lose a few pounds, but I love to eat! I am about 7 1/2 years old. This is a great age because I still have a lot of energy but am not a wild young pup. I like to play in the yard and go for walks, but I also like to take long naps. I'm house broken and fully vetted. I'm a laid back little girl. I like to be with my person whenever I can but I'm also content to just chill out. I'm mostly white, but my face is half white and half black. It looks like ying and yang. I came into my foster home with 7 young, beautiful puppies. It was a sad story but with a very happy ending. All of my beautiful puppies found homes. Now it is my turn. I live with other dogs and I am fine with them. I don't like it when other dogs bother me. If other dogs are laid back and nice to me, then I'm fine. I'm careful though when I meet new dogs, which means that I would not be a dog park dog. I'm up to date on shots and my preventatives and am spayed and microchipped. I love attention from humans and I like to roll around in the grass. I would be a great companion. I like to go for walks and then to just chill out with my person. I'm being fostered in Northern Virginia. My foster mom said that I can be adopted out to the DC metro area, the Richmond area or the Harrisonburg area. They do home visits and vet checks as part of our adoption process. If you think you can give me a great home, please contact my foster mom at [email protected]. Thanks. Lila
