Meet Lily: A Sweet, Resilient Pup Ready for Her Forever Home!
Lily is a calm, laid-back dog with a gentle nature and a low-to-moderate energy level. While she’s currently a little on the quiet side, as she becomes more comfortable in her new surroundings, we expect her playful and exuberant side to shine through. Lily weighs around 33 lbs right now, but she’s a bit underweight, so we’ll be working on getting her to a healthy size in no time!
Lily absolutely loves all humans—she’s curious, affectionate, and intelligent, always eager to meet new people. She gets along wonderfully with her three large foster siblings, both male and female, and has shown no issues with their presence. While she hasn't yet been around small dogs, her easy-going and social nature makes us think she’d likely enjoy their company, but we don’t have proof just yet. She has not been around cats, so we're unsure how she'd react.
One of Lily’s favorite things is going for walks—she walks beautifully on a leash, staying right by your side and soaking in all the sights and smells. She’s calm and composed, and would make a fantastic companion for strolls around the neighborhood.
Since arriving in her foster home, Lily has made great strides. Initially, she was a little unsure about meeting other dogs, but after a two-week quarantine period, she was introduced to her new foster siblings and handled everything with calmness and confidence. Her personality is blossoming, and she’s starting to discover the joys of life. Recently, she’s fallen in love with balls and toys that hide treats, and she’s showing more and more of her playful side.
Lily is also incredibly well-mannered. Though she’s still learning some basic commands, she’s a quick learner and listens well. She’s potty trained and will let you know when it’s time to go outside. She also loves car rides—she happily jumps right in, ready for adventure.
Lily is the perfect size for someone looking for a small-to-medium “micro Pittie” mix, and she’s ready to continue her transformation from a shy, uncertain pup to a confident, joyful dog. She’s gentle, well-mannered, and shows immense gratitude for the love and care she’s receiving.
