All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step. He does well in the car but is tentative about actually getting in, but once in, he is fine. He is an intelligent boy who warms up slowly but is great once he trusts you. He loves to play chase with other dogs. He sleeps in bed with you or next to your dog on the floor. His personality comes out if he is bonding with your dog or cat, he just wants/needs another 4-legged buddy. All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
