Since you are reading this, we know you have a heart for resecuring dogs. You are OUR kind of people. Rescuing means much more than giving them a home, it means giving them a life of love and kindness. We would like you to meet Lira. We will be honest with you, right now she doesn't have a lot to offer you as an owner. However, you could give her the life her little doggie soul could never have dreamed of. Lira is a gentle and sweet soul. We don't believe she ever felt the love and safety she deserved. She didn't have a chance in her previous situation, then she came to us as an expecting momma. She was an excellent momma to her babies who grew to be wonderful little pups and found their perfect forever homes. Now it's Lira's turn. Lira is a timid girl and gives her affection in her own time. She feels most comfortable when she has a doggie sibling to lean on. In fact, when she is around her dog and cat friends, that's when she really shines. She is housetrained and will easily go into her crate when asked. Her favorite place to sleep at night is snuggled up to her person. Once she is in bed, you can see her fully relax. Lira is learning how to walk on a leash. The world is big so she is cautious and taking her time to take it all in. She loves to be out in the yard and toys that squeak are her favorites. When other doggos are getting loves and pets, she will happily approach for her share. Lira is looking for a calm home where she can feel safe and is given plenty of time to settle in. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm preventions. Her adoption fee is $175.
