Little Blue Eyes is an exquisitely sweet young female dog (around 24 months). She is not very large, only standing about 12-14” tall at the head. She was hanging around houses in the neighborhood, and would come running for food, water, and petting. It was pretty clear she had been dumped on our school campus and had no one to call her own. A caring woman befriended her and gave her food, water, shelter, loving attention, and got her medical care. Recently, Little Blue Eyes was spayed, got Parvo/Distemper shots plus Rabies and Bordetella, and was given treatment to guard against fleas, ticks, and worms. She appears to be in good health and was a little plump at 36 pounds before her surgery. With a proper, regular diet, she will probably weigh about 30 pounds. She will be available for adoption around March 8, when she recovers from her surgery. This cute little girl will likely follow her new owner everywhere, as she is timid and may stick to her new owner like glue until she gets used to her new family, house, and yard. She needs a home with a fenced yard and would probably enjoy a doggie sibling that is smaller, like she is. Little Blue Eyes will be attentive, loving, and loyal – a super good companion animal that you will enjoy.
