Meet Liza: A Brave Soul Ready for Her Forever Home Liza is a beautiful lab mix, just under one year old, with a heart full of love to give. She was once a stray, struggling with a limp in her back leg. After being rescued, we discovered that Liza's pelvis was not built to support the leg, and she had to undergo an amputation to give her the best chance at a happy, active life. Despite the challenges, Liza has shown incredible resilience. Since her amputation, she has thrived and become a sweet, playful pup who loves to snuggle. Though a little shy at first, Liza truly shines in a home with other dog friends to share her energy and joy. She loves to play and would be happiest in a home where she can enjoy companionship and love. Liza may be a tripod, but she doesn't let that stop her from living life to the fullest. She does best in a home with minimal or no stairs, where she can run, play, and snuggle without any obstacles.
