My Story

Sweet boy Logan has made his way to rescue! Logan, an 11-year-old Havanese/Poodle. His previous owner was terminally ill and believed the only thing to do with Logan was to have him euthanized. We couldn’t let that happen as he is still FULL of life, so his foster brought him home! He is potty trained, but he will go if left out when his foster is not home, so we crate him at night, and when we’re gone. He then has no accidents! Logan is about 19 pounds, dark gray and a cuddle buddy. He does have some senior old man's breath that we are discussing with our vet. He is currently being fed science diet sensitive tummy dog food twice daily. He has seen our vet for a wellness exam and was given a clean bill of health otherwise. He is very sweet, and we believe he has a lot of life left! He is a rambunctious funny little guy who loves to be on your lap when he isn't outside exploring or chasing chipmunks. All dogs are brought current on their vaccinations up to the point of adoption. Parasite protection is also done with dewormings, flea/tick prevention application, and heartworm prevention. If old enough a heartworm test is done. The spay/neuter and microchip are included in the adoption fee. All our dogs go to their new homes with their collar/leash, dog bed, favorite toy(s), bowls, and some food to acclimate them. For adoption consideration, please fill out an application from our website at (www.causeforpaws.net) Please also read about our adoption process and requirements on the website. For the safety and convenience of our foster homes and their orphans, we will only consider applicants that are within a 100 mile adoption radius.
