If youre looking for a perfect little fur-baby, look no further. A friend to all, a lover to her core, an exceptionally trainable and well-behaved girl, Lola wins your heart in an instant, and feels like a family member the moment she steps paw in your home.
Fall in love with Lola here: https://youtu.be/P1iXFHVdeEM?feature=shared
Lola Lovebug is a dainty little Pittie/Staffie mix with these big brown pet me eyes. She has an adorable habit of perching her chin on the edge of your couch, the corner of your bed, or even on your knees, and gazing up at you until you pay attention to her. She really does feel more like a human child than a dog, shes a total fur baby, doghter, baby dog type of pup. Shes estimated to be around 7 years old, and contrary to popular belief, she is proof that old dogs can learn new tricks. This girl is incredibly trainable, she knows sit, and lay down, and her dedicated foster mom works with her often. Lola is a rescue dog, so it is important to note that her exact age and breed are unknown to us- these are simply our best estimates.
Here at the rescue, Lola has a chance to meet an eleven year old boy named Elijah. She was a total sweetheart with him, gentle taking treats and obedient of commands. She even asked for affection with soft tail wags and those big baby eyes. She told us everything we needed to know- this girl would love the family dog lifestyle. Were confident in recommending her for a home with kids over ten, and open to further testing her with younger kids if your family requires it.
Lola is way more of a peoples dog than a dogs dog. With dogs, shes pretty disinterested and not playful. Shes polite passing other dogs on leash on walks, and willing to tandem walk with her doggy foster siblings. However, we do think she would be happiest living life as an only-dog, or she could enjoy life as a doggy sibling to an aloof, calm male. Shes not the perfect playmate for your energetic puppy, but she is perfect in so many other ways that we can forgive her for that.
The sweetest thing about Lola is her love of play with humans. Lola loves toys, soft and squishy squeaky toys, hard chews, or tennis balls. Shell play fetch with you, with frequent breaks to roll in the grass or sniff a new spot.
Lola is also ah-may-zing, amazing on leash. This girl showed us great leash manners here at the rescue, and enjoys frequent walks about the neighborhood with her foster mom. Shes super friendly with everyone she meets on walks too, and enjoys the extra attention that new friends always seem to bring. She would love to go on little adventures with you, errands and park days and patio restaurant dates. Shes great in the car too, and sits up in the backseat looking out the window.
If your life is more chill than adventurous, Lola says thats okay too. Shes an expert snuggler, and really thoroughly enjoys couch naps and lazy mornings in bed. Shell happily accompany you for a full Saturday movie marathon, granted that you do something at least a little enriching on Sunday. Shes a perfectly medium energy girl, the best type of pup for most lifestyles. If youre not a fan of dogs on the couch or the bed- thats okay too, Lolas favorite spots to nap are in her crate, outside, or in a puddle of sunlight indoors. She loves to sunbathe, and she is perfectly content in her kennel.
Lola is a once-in-a-lifetime perfect pup, and ready for her forever home. She is so cool, calm and collected on leash, and so friendly and well behaved that we believe an apartment could be a great fit for her. Lola is pretty outdoorsy, so she could also enjoy life in a home with a yard. Shes not too picky about your home- she just wants your love. Sweet Lola is not recommended for a home with kitties, when we cat-tested her here at the rescue she seemed a little too interested. We think she could make a great family dog, or a perfect companion dog to anyone looking to be adored. Shes friendly with men and women alike, and she would love dinkwad life with a young couple. We are willing to test the lovely Lola with anything you need us to in order to ensure she is the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescues hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical caresuch as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic carecan lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
