My Story

Meet Lottie! Lottie was surrendered to CCHS when she could no longer stay with her previous family. Lottie is a 4-year old Terrier mix. She's a spayed female and weighs 21.1#. Lottie has been a little shy since coming to the Shelter, as so many changes can be a bit overwhelming. But she's growing in her confidence every day as she learns that everybody as the Shelter is really pretty nice! She now comes to the front of her kennel to greet people. She is a quiet, gentle soul who will do best in a calm home so that she doesn't get overwhelmed. If you'd like to give Lottie the happy ending she's homing for, please apply for her today! Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response. The adoption fee is $150. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS.
