My Story

1. PLEASE NOTE: Breed mix info is the best guess of Bark Bark Wag and our vets. There is no way to know for certain what any dog's breed mix is without a DNA test; and most mixed-breed dogs may have 3, 4, 5 different breeds in their mix! 2. MUST READ -- THE FIRST STEP: Go to www.barkbarkwag.org and click on "Let's Get Started!" to learn about our easy 3-step adoption process & apply to adopt! ANSWERS TO MOST QUESTIONS CAN BE FOUND BY SCROLLING DOWN THIS PAGE.. *PLEASE NOTE: WE NEED AN ADOPTION APPLICATION TO START THE PROCESS, the short Petfinder questionnaire is *not* our adoption application.* APPLICATION & INFO: https://barkbarkwag.org/adopt.html LOTTIE Meet Miss Lottie! This sweet, darling girl is apx. 7-8 y/o and just 10#. Tiny little Lottie was surrendered to us by a family who was unable to care for her. She arrived dirty/matted with overgrown nails, horrible teeth, several hernias and a small bump on her eyelid (all now repaired). She was so uncomfortable, but dear Lottie was cheerful and took her meds and eye drops without complaint, knowing we were trying to love and help her. She's an amazing, resilient little lady with an inquisitive nature and love of life-- a little dog in a big dog body! Lottie is healthy and happy now; she has a good appetite, and is gentle taking treats. Lottie loves to go for short "prances"(walks LOL!), and she'll explore the fenced yard with a sassy diva strut! She loves sleeping in the humans' bed and snuggling up in fleecy blankets; she's the sweetest cuddler, so tiny and soft and gentle! Lottie is crate-trained (but she hates it, and she's a very respectful house guest so she doesn't need to be crated) and house-trained, and will bark to let you know she needs to go outside. Lottie has been fine with the other dogs she has met so far; cats unknown. Lottie's ideal home will be with a calmer adult family, since the noise and activity of kids can be stressful for her. (She's fine meeting respectful kids, but doesn't want to live with kids). Lottie is looking for a loving, stable family who will treasure and care for her always -- she's a gentle and loyal pooch who is a delightful companion and affectionate family member.
