Meet Lovable Louie! He is currently not quite 8 pounds, 6 weeks old, and we think he may be an Australian Cattledog/Boxer mix, but with rescue its always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! Get ready to be mesmerized by this lovable and loving pup! Louie has quite the mesmerizing stare - gaze deeply into his eyes and you too will be a huge Louie fan. When he lowers his head and looks up at you through his wrinkles and with such expressiveness - well, its a lost cause. You will be hopelessly in love with this handsome little guy, just like us. We have made Louie promise to only use his expressive eye power for good....and extra treats and soft stuffies. And maybe extra belly rubs too. You know, the important stuff.
This handsome fellow is so striking and guaranteed to turn heads. Louie is mostly white, with brown on either side of his face and ears, and few matching brown spots on his side and back. Even his tail is mostly white, with brown at the base. He is such a distinctive fellow and his wrinkles just beg for your attention - you will want to snuggle and squish this cutie, and Louie will let you! He will absorb any attention you give him and delight in the affection. Louie is very playful and loves soft stuffies to snuggle and chew toys. Louie is currently in a loving foster home with his two brothers and foster siblings (and even a cat), so he is used to playing with other dogs of all sizes. Louie and his brothers are sleeping through the night and starting to learn all the puppy ropes. Their days are mostly spent living the classic puppy life - eat, sleep, play, and repeat. Louie is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood.

Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.
Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee is $1200.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
*WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health.
*To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs.
