Lucky

Hi folks! Lucky is the BESTEST boy - 2 years and 70 pounds of pure love! As is typical of the bully breeds, he's a goofy, super fun boy who loves to snuggle with his people and get dressed up in PJs. But I he is also great with other dogs and even cats! (See the video of him eating dinner with a cat! https://www.youtube.com/@HouseHippoRescue-n9e). Despite his young age (around 2 years old) and large size, he is fabulous and gentle with kids, and lives with a toddler. He is a strong boy who will need a guardian to keep working on his leash training, but he's made progress and I have no doubt with a little help he'll be a great walking buddy. Lucky came to us on November 16th because his mom, who is only in her 30's, found out that she was dying of cancer and had months to live. She had escaped a domestic violence situation with her children and amazingly took Lucky with her. We couldn't say no to Lucky, knowing that his mom's last wish was that he and her children be taken care of. We would LOVE to find Lucky a wonderful home before his mom passes so she can know he has a family who will love him forever. Please consider this sweet boy.
