Hey there! My name's Lucky, a dashing 5-year-old black lab mix, and I'm here to find my forever family. With my solid 80 pounds of love and energy, I'm neutered, vaccinated, and ready to become your loyal companion. I'm a pro at being house, crate, and leash trained, so you won't have to worry about teaching me those basics. I absolutely adore kids—especially older ones who understand my quirks. While I get along splendidly with other dogs, cats aren't my cup of tea. I've had some run-ins with animals that scared or hurt me before. Truth be told, I attacked a goat after it head-butt me. I'm hoping for a cat and farm animal-free home where I can feel safe and loved. If you're looking for a playful and energetic buddy, I'm your guy! I love to jump, bump, and get all rowdy when I’m excited. When you come home, be prepared for an enthusiastic welcome with my front paws up on you, asking for some love and cuddles. I might look like a big ball of energy, but I also enjoy relaxing and take lots of naps throughout the day. Toys are my absolute favorite, especially balls and stuffies—though I have to admit, I don't get to play with them often because they don't last long with me. I have a blast splashing around with other dogs at the dog park and would love to share those moments with you. I am in Pocahontas, TN right now, but for the right home, I can be transported to different states (with a transport fee).
