???? Thank you for very much for your interest in our sweet senior Lucky. Let me begin with why he is named called. For a year our director Charlaine Raynor has been trying to get animal control and the police to a house that was hoarding dogs and leaving them chained. Finally in February of this year she successfully was able to get all the dogs out of the house and Lucky was one of them. She was amazed how sweet he was and easy to approach. When he was rescued he had atrophy in his hind legs from lack of movement. Since then he as been with friends of her playing with lots of dogs at Luving Paws in Puerto Rico. He was diagnose positive for heartworm and he has already started his treatment. We would love the ability to move him out of Luving Paws and into a loving home adopted or as a foster to adopt while he finishes he heartworm treatment. Lucky as been very good with people and other dogs so a home with dogs would fine but the most important is a home that he can relax and be loved. He was tied up behind big barking dogs and this little man really deserves a nice quiet place to heal and be loved.
