My Story

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/gener. You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/. Dog's Name: Lucy Lou (LUC1124ALAFS) Estimated Breed: Miniature Pinscher MIX Approximate Age: 1 year Approximate Weight: 15 lbs Currently Living at: Boarding Adoption Fee: $400 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Say Hi to Lucy Lou! This friendly and playful little one is eagerly waiting for her forever home. She is a fun-loving lady who can't wait to bring lots of joy and happiness to your life. In her former foster home, she got along great with the cats and loved the kids. She is also very affectionate and would love to be your shadow. She might have a touch of hound in her, because she loves to follow scent trails with her nose glued to the ground. She tends to ark when left alone, so migh not be a good choice for apartment living. Other than that, LL is a great size for almost any home, and the perfect size for cuddling! Adopting Lucy Lou means opening your heart and home to a best friend who will love you unconditionally, make your days brighter, and your life happier. So why not fill out an application today and give this sweet girl the loving home she deserves! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
