My Story

Luna Female 12 lbs DOB 1/12/25 3 months Lab mix Hello! I'm Luna! Your little lady in charge! While currently the assistant branch manager and toy inventory specialist someday I will be the big boss! Just kidding, who needs that stress? I'm here for the warm snuggles and tasty treats! I arrived here on April 3rd from Texas after the shelter that took me in became too crowded. Something tells me that this is where I will find my forever family. My foster family is helping me out with cute pictures and a comfy place to rest while we search. I'm good in my crate with my two other foster pup friends. There are two kids and ten other big dogs that I am not afraid of! I have kissed on several of them! (much to their surprise) So far I have learned that although I am a tough, twelve pound pup... *whispers* I really love being held. Don't tell the other pups ? The warm spot is MY spot! I love walking outside and snorting in the grass. I am also an expert at leaf defense maneuvers! I rwow rwow rwowwwww and then when they're still trembling with fear, I POUNCE! Hahaha gotcha leaf! Love that game! I love playing and running with my foster family outside. I am still a little puppy so I am working on things like potty training and not jumping. Also being a puppy, I love to chew on everything! So please keep that in mind when loving me. Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). . It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed. An application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee adoption but does allow us to begin the review process. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed. Safe Haven Dog Rescue reserves the right to refuse adoption of any dog or puppy to any applicant (adopter) for any reason. Please consider becoming a foster home while you search for your new best friend. We need foster homes - pounds are overflowing with puppies and adult dogs that are at-risk and need help. We can only rescue as many as we have foster home commitments. Fostering is a rewarding experience for your family.
