Hello, hello, I'm Luna Lou! I'm a retired field trial racing greyhound available for adoption through Prison Greyhounds. I just arrived into their care in mid-November, so I haven't yet had time to show off my full personality to my foster family. However, I can tell you I am 3 years old, just over 50 pounds, and a beautiful brindle lady! The person I lived with before coming to Indiana was my field trial racer, who took great care of me during my time with him! He described me as playful and frisky, and very sweet. I liked racing (who doesn't love to run, when you're as fast as I am?!) but I wasn't a big fan of when other dogs bumped me during the race. We decided an early retirement was the right fit for me - after all, my happiness is the most important concern! If you are looking for a lovey, affectionate girl to keep you company, I'd love to meet you! Because I've just arrived, I haven't let them know whether I'm cat or small dog safe yet.
