I need a foster starting 10/25. If you can foster me please email [email protected] Hi, my name is Lupo. I am from Florida. My name Lupo is Italian for "Wolf" and I just arrived in MN from Florida. I really love being outside in this much cooler weather! I live in a foster home with adults, 2 kids (ages 11 & 9), and a resident dog (Husky x Lab Mix). I love them all! One of the adults works from home so I am rarely left alone which I really like because I keep a close eye on my people and follow them from room-to-room. I love playing with other dogs and I am very happy to see dogs. The resident dog here plays with me sometimes but I really would like to find a home with a buddy that likes to play. For the most part my foster family tells me I am pretty low key, quiet, and a loyal companion. Some other things about me: - I sleep at night in one of the kids rooms, on the floor. They keep inviting me into their comfy beds but I prefer a dog bed on the floor. -My foster family tells me I am underweight so they are working on that with me. One of my favorite perks are pup cups from coffee places! -I LOVE the car and enjoy rides and putting my head out the window. -I am housetrained all night and have no accidents. During the day I am housetrained when I go #1 but I am still working on letting my foster family know when I need to go #2. My foster Mom can tell that I am not used to going #2 on a leash and she thinks I am used to going in a fenced yard. -I love to play! I enjoy jumping and running for a squeaky toy which I bring back to the person for more playing! -I love getting scratches on my neck and I will lean into you if you will scratch me! -I love all people and dogs -Even though I am very tall, mt foster family is impressed that I do not jump up and try to "counter surf" or get things on tables. At mealtime, I sit close to my people but I never try to take from the table. -I walk pretty well on a leash but it is newer to me. -I am very observant! I really enjoy my walks or outside time.
