My name is Luv. And I’m the sweetest dog!! I’m 42 pounds of affection! But I’m special too! You see- I’m deaf. And deaf dogs make the most loyal, loving companions. We are smart, inquisitive, and we don’t let the hearing impairment slow us down! Now, when you first meet me, I become startled of quick movements. But you see, it’s just that I need to become confident. Deaf dogs learn hand signals quickly and are truly the most appreciative dogs!! Please come and meet me!!! My name is Luv! *If you visit the shelter and don’t see the particular animal you are looking for, please ask at the front desk. No appointment is necessary to adopt. Our business hours are 11am - 4:30pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance. If you have dogs and/or kids in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.
