Meet Mac: This wonderful boy appears to be a Border Collie mix with a beautiful soft coat. Mac is ten months old and weighs 18 pounds, making him that perfect medium sized dog that is up for everything. When Mac arrived in his foster home he lacked experience in a home, as a pet. However, he is smart as a whip and picks up things very quickly. He is walking on a leash like a pro, and has not had any accidents inside. He sleeps quietly in the crate and is comfortable alone in the puppy proof kitchen for a few hours with another dog for company. He learned "sit" and "down" in minutes and rides quietly in the car. He is still a puppy so enjoys chewing on bones and playing with toys. He is being fostered with a male dog and kids under ten. Mac would thrive in any home that likes to walk, hike or jog. He is calm and quiet in the house but will need a solid walk and playtime daily to keep him that way. This dog is a total gem and someone is going to be very lucky to get this special boy.
