Mac

Mac is an amazing loving family dog. He is an Aussie/Border Collie mix, born 4/14/2021 and was adopted out through Open Arms Rescue 10 weeks later. His story is a bit sad BECAUSE he is so very loved. We often post about how people will relenquish their pets because they are inconvenienced or because they erroneous believing the rescue has more resources than they do to care for high needs pets. That is absolutely NOT the case with Mac. He did everything right and so did his family! This was a very DIFFICULT decision with lots of tears, that was absolutely necessary for a medically fragile baby with allergies. If you are looking for a family dog Mac might be your guy. He is crate and house trained, loving, great on leash, respectful of young and old. He knows how to sit, lay & stay. He is food motivated but a gentle treat taker, microchipped, loves kids and other dogs and has always been up to date on vaccines and preventatives.
