My Story

This is Magnum. We believe that he is a 2-year-old Pittie mix. Magnum came to Judy's Forgotten Jewells on July 30th. He was brought to us from a shelter in Louisiana that ran out of space and was going to have to euthanize him. Since he has been in care, staff members say that he is such a ham! He loves everyone he meets (including dogs) and is so happy to get love and attention from people. He is mostly housebroken so we think he would learn quickly in a new home with a routine. He gets very excited when he goes for a walk so he could use a little training on that. He is such a fun and smart guy! His adoption fee is $200. The adoption fee includes their care, de-worming, microchip, neuter, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption. In addition to their adoption fee, there is a $50 fee to cover the 6 months of heartworm prevention we will send home with each adoptee. The next step to adopt from Judy's Forgotten Jewells is to apply. To apply, visit our website and click the "Apply for Adoption" button on a specific pet's profile. See our adoptable pets and apply: https://judysforgottenjewells.com/view-our-adoptable-pets We adopt by scheduled and confirmed appointments only. We adopt on a first-approved, first-serve basis, so it is important to apply and respond to our follow-up emails as quickly as possible. Puppies and kittens get adopted very quickly. Learn more about our adoption process here: https://judysforgottenjewells.com/adoption-process Questions? Please read our FAQ's here: https://judysforgottenjewells.com/f-a-q Contact us via email: [email protected]. Please note that sending an email about a pet is not the same as applying. You must apply to begin the adoption process. Our phone number is for our animal hospital so it is frequently busy. E-mail is the easiest way to communicate with the rescue if you have specific questions. Thank you!
