My Story

Meet magnificent Mallory! She arrived at the shelter as a lost gal on 9/3, and no one has come to reclaim her. Mallory was wearing a nice harness when she arrived, so we're surprised no one is missing her. Mallory was very overwhelmed and nervous in the loud shelter at first, but she's starting to come out of her shell. She just needs the right family to give her a chance to decompress and learn to trust again. If you have a soft spot for the shy kids, and have room in your heart and home for Mallory, she'd sure love a second chance! Mallory is approximately 1.5 years old, and she weighs 71 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and she will be spayed, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Mallory in run 876; her ID # is 661617. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
