MAPLE (2)

**TAKING APPLICATIONS** Maple 2 (4 yrs old, 52LBS) was pulled by Lab Rescue from a municipal shelter as a stray when her time was up. When we got her to the vet, we realized that she would need an FHO surgery to fix her injured leg. She had the surgery and is now doing physical therapy to strengthen her hip. She will need a bit more time with her foster to work on her PT, so we are taking applications for meeting her in the coming weeks. She is looking for a family that will commit to continuing her PT and walking her so she can make a full recovery. Maple is the perfect name for this girl, who is sweet as syrup. She loves to snuggle and be petted, and is friendly with everyone she meets. She wasn't house trained when she arrived at her foster home, but has picked it up quickly because this girl is smart (and likes to work for treats!). She does well in the crate, and is leash trained for walking. Maple does well with kids of all ages, but has not been tested with cats.
