Little miss Maple is ready for a home just in time for Christmas! ? Meet Maple! This girl arrived at our shelter as a stray in the county who was never reclaimed. Upon entry to our shelter, it was pretty clear that she had mothered several litters of puppies in her lifetime and her body was in pretty rough shape. Thankfully, those days are over! This girl is ready for the opportunity to be taken care of for once rather than having to worry about tiny pups all the time. ???? First off, and you can probably feel this just from her photos alone; Maple is a total sweet heart! She truthfully has never met a stranger in her life, and is excited to make friends wherever she goes. Anyone would be extremely lucky to have sweet Maple as a companion as she just has so much love to give. She would be excellent for a family with children and understands when it is time to be gentle. Though she’s a little older, Maple still enjoys playing and would also love to accompany you on walks! She gets along great with other dogs, so she certainty wouldn’t mind hanging out with any existing pups you may have. ? Maple is around 6 years old and weighs 35 pounds at this time. She has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites and has tested negative for heartworm disease in shelter. Thanks to an amazing and generous sponsor, Maple has already been spayed. ??
