Meet Marcy, a very sweet, shy, and loving little girl. She loves toys and chewing on her bones for fun. Marcy enjoys cuddling on the couch and playing in the backyard. She loves to greet you in the morning as she becomes so excited about the new adventures that day! She enjoys going for walks and will need a human with firm footing as she loves to lead the way and show you all the cool sniffing spots. Because she’s shy, she thrives with 1-1 introductions with other dogs. After she meets dogs, they become her best friends and she loves to play with them. Marcy may protest when you leave the house, but after five minutes of voicing her displeasure, she settles right in. She has picked up house training but needs a few days to understand a new schedule. Marcy has low-medium energy meaning she loves to play but she loves sleeping/cuddling next to you more. Marcy is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $350 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. This dog is good with other dogs and children. This dog is kennel trained and housebroken. We would love for you to meet Marcy and see if she might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). *We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, January 4th. Instead, we will facilitate private adoption appointments for approved applicants during the week.*
