Margo

In many ways, Margo is typical of the Dutch Shepherd breed in that she is confident, energetic, mentally bright & curious, loves to run and play, is active, needs a job, loves being outdoors with her many canine companions and adores her human. She's also humble, wants to please and loves being both an indoor and outdoor girl. She's learning to walk on leash and is food motivated so she will be easy to train. This girl does beautifully indoors and is house trained. She sleeps quietly in her bed each night and lets you know when she wants to go outside. She has wonderful recall, knows sit', loves to eat and is very energetic. Margo loves human attention and would sit to be petted all day long. She is learning toys' quickly and has a good give and take toy balance with her canine friends. She's been left alone several times for 4-5 hours without any problems at all. However, she does need mental stimulation. Margo MUST have plenty of room to run and someone to provide her with a job and challenge her physically and mentally. She will NOT do well in an apartment and we prefer her adopter be someone who knows and understands the breed. This one-year-old is a healthy weight of ~57 lbs and loves mealtime. Her adoption fee includes a spay, microchip, rabies, parvo-distemper, Bordetella and a negative heartworm test. She has been de-wormed and is on flea and tick as well as heartworm prevention.
