My Story

Meet Marigold! Marigold is a 5-year-old Lab mix with a heart full of love and the sweetest personality. She is calm, friendly, and very relaxed. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, people, and kids, making her an amazing companion for just about any home. Marigold is new to being a house dog, but she’s adjusting beautifully. She is potty trained, great on a leash, and while she tolerates her crate, she much prefers finding a quiet corner to nap. Sometimes new experiences make her a little nervous, but she is a quick learner—especially when treats are involved. Before arriving in rescue, Marigold had a litter of puppies. Now that she is done raising her family, she is ready for a family of her own to love and care for her. She is starting to show her playful side and would enjoy having another dog to keep her active, but she would also be perfectly happy as the only pet, soaking up all the attention. Marigold would do best with a patient family who will help build her confidence and show her the love she deserves. She loves being near her people and is always curious, even if she doesn’t quite realize how big she is. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who is happy to relax by your side, Marigold might be the perfect match. Apply to adopt Marigold today!
