This dog's adoption fee is $550. If you are still interested, please read more below. Mario was surrendered to animal control after his human was moved to an assistive living facility. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. Most of all, Mario is a people person, ummm...dog. He will go to his human family members for attention or just to snuggle next to them to take a nap. He hasn't been exposed to young children while with ARF. He should do well with children who respect his boundaries, however, young children chasing him while making lots of noise would probably scare him. We have started to work on his housebreaking and he is very eager to please-but like all Chihuahuas, he feels that he is allergic to cold weather and would prefer using a potty pad and stay in doors. Mario is super sweet, affectionate, loving, and craves attention. He will be your best friend in a matter of a couple days. Mario is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and neutered. This dog's family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing.
