It’s me, Marlin! I'm a super sweet handsome 9 year old guy who weighs just 9 lbs. You see, I've had several changes in my short life, but now since coming to the great folks at VIP, I'm on the road to a fabulous life! I just love cuddling with the "hoomans" and play real nice with the doggies in my foster home. I've been told I do great on a leash. I can be a little nervous to start, but I do warm up if given some time. A fenced in yard in a single family home is a must for me and non negotiable, sorry, but it’s what’s best for me. A dog park is not a substitute. I would prefer a home where the human is home more often than not, maybe a work at home person or one that is not gone for more than a few hours at a time. Adoption Requirements: You must be a Florida resident, and be at least 25 years of age to adopt. To qualify for adoption, all of the pets in your home must be spayed or neutered, be current on all vaccines, preventatives, and have received consistent veterinary care. If you’ve had more than one Vet in the past 3 years, please provide all the names and number for each vet. This breed typically lives 15-18 years, so please keep that lifespan in mind, as your age should be appropriate for the pets estimated lifespan. All of us at VIP Rescue are Volunteers, with families, jobs and pets of our own, so please be kind and patient. We select the most fitting application for the dog, not necessarily the timeliest adoption application.
