Welcome Mary to Colorado! We dont know the extend of her time in Texas but we do know she was adopted out and then failed by her adopter and ended back in the shelter completely shut down and scared. She is now in a foster home where she is learning how to be a confident girl and decompress from the noisy shelter environment She is good with other dogs but high energy dogs make she scared and she runs away. So a home with another chill dog would be best or even where she can be the only spoiled dog in the home Due to her being a shy dog, we dont recommend young kids in the home She is a very pretty and sweet girl! She will be learning crate training, leash work, house training and more in her foster home. Please note she is Heartworm positive. This is non contagious and will be fully paid for by our rescue.
