Mattie is an 8 month old, 22 pound Border Collie mix PUP. She and her sis, Emily, are shy in their pens but look at the video and see how they come out of their shells when outside of the shelter! These pups will be fine going to separate homes as they need to become independent and bond with their new family rather than each other. They are total sweethearts!
Adoption fees are $60, $30 or free. If the pet has been at the shelter more than 30 days, they are free. Check the INTAKE DATE on the adoption card to determine this. If the pet is 4 years of age or older OR if you adopt more than one pet, the fee is $30 for each pet. All others are $60. OKC Animal Welfare is open for adoptions from 12-5:00 Tuesday through Saturday. The shelter is at 2811 S.E. 29th St., phone # 405-297-3100.
The dog/cat adoption fee includes spay or neuter, MICROCHIP, age-appropriate shots and health check. Use pet's ID # when inquiring.
