My Story

Meet Maui! If you love senior house hippos, you will fall hard for our Maui. He's new to our rescue, coming from AHS-Newark Branch after being surrendered because he was having skin issues... ???...anyway, since he has been in our care his skin is clearing up nicely after a course of treatment. 10-year-old Maui has very few teeth (NO canines) so his tongue often sticks out the one side of his mouth. He eats just fine and has been a perfect boy. He is very housebroken and adores his people, He has been walking well with our other dogs, happy to be a part of a pack walk with our other dogs. He has been friendly to everyone! He's quiet and would love to get back into a home soon.Everyone loves him!
