Maverick is a laid-back, easygoing 4-year-old Shepherd with a heart of gold. Weighing in at 65lbs this gentle giant, more tall and lean, is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a well-mannered friend.
Maverick was saved from a high-kill shelter in Texas. He has since lived with dogs of all sizes and has done well. When in the home with other dogs, Maverick can be protective of his toys and food. He will need an adopter who has experience in a multi-dog home and who will provide boundaries. Maverick has never shown resource guarding with people, only with select dogs.
With his sun-kissed coat and calm demeanor, Maverick is happiest when he's by your side—whether you're enjoying a leisurely walk or just hanging out at home.
