My Story

Hi! I'm Max! I'm an approximately 4 year old, male, Doberman mix who weighs about 68lbs. I am a sweet and social guy who loves people! I appear to get along with other dogs but if you have a friend for me at home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccine and basic boosters. I did test positive for heartworms but thanks to our friends at Rockwall Paws, I am able to receive treatment at little to no cost to my adopter. If you have questions about heartworms or treatment, feel free to reach out to the staff at Rockwall Adoption Center. If you are interested in making me the newest member of your family, please visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application and RAC staff will be in touch to schedule a meet and greet! All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email [email protected]. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
