Max

Max is a sweet senior Shih tzu looking for a loving home. He came to us very matted, obese, and with a painful chronic ear infection, as a result of a bleeding mass in his ear. The tumor is benign, but he needs surgery to remove his ear canal in order to fully remove the mass. We are looking for a foster or adoptive home for him to recover from his surgery out of the shelter environment ideally. He's been getting along with other small dogs at the shelter and is a social guy who wants to be with people as much as possible. He's already lost a few pounds with his diet (he came in at a whopping 27!) and is still working hard to get down to a healthy weight.
