My name is Max!, and I am ready to find my forever home! Could it be you?? Here is a little bit about me: I am a sweet and spunky 3 (ish) year old terrier mix who was found alone and scared behind a gas station in New Mexico. The kind woman who picked me up tried to find my owners, but had no luck. She kept me at her home for several weeks (where I lived/got along well with a big and small dog, cats, and kids), and I am now being fostered here in Boulder, Colorado through RezDawg Rescue. I am super smart and love to learn new things--I've very quickly picked up some commands (sit, wait, lie down, roll over, 360) and am learning more every day--my litte mind is like a sponge! I am potty trained, crate trained, and am great on leash. Don't be fooled by my size--I LOVE going on hikes and other adventures (car rides are my favorite). I'm a tiny bit nervous to meet new people, but once I warm up to you, you'll find that I have an amazingly sweet, outgoing personality and will never want to leave your side..I love talking long naps on the couch by my human :) I would do best in a home with another dog friend who would be happy living alongside my outgoing nature--I do love to play, but I also know when it's time to chill out.
