My Story

Please read the bio in full for answers to your questions. In the event you have a question that is not covered in the bio, please email [email protected]. If interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application which can be found at https://seniordoghaven.org/adoption-process/. Please note that because all our dogs live in foster homes, we are unable to set up meetings with a dog unless we have a completed adoption application on file. Adoptions must be within a reasonable distance from Landenberg, PA for our volunteers to be able to conduct an in-person home visit. Meet Max! Max is a 15-year-old, 12 lb., Lhasa Apso mix who was surrendered when his owner’s health declined. Max was in good health and only required a dental and neuter. He has good vision and hearing and is fully potty trained. Max gets along well with other dogs and older children. He walks well on a leash and has no trouble with stairs. Max is a more independent dog. He loves being with people but isn’t into cuddling.  Max is a happy pup who enjoys going for walks and exploring the yard. He loves to be part of the family, but won’t require your attention every minute of the day. If you want a low-maintenance dog, please apply today!
