To schedule a time to meet this pet, please email [email protected]. --- - Very sweet boy who loves people, walks, car rides, and pup cups - Has some energy and really enjoys tennis balls and playing ball; might be a great walking or running buddy - Has been on a few Dog's Day Out field trips and has had a great time with his human companions: "Maxwell was amazing in the car and loved going on a walk. He got excited about a squirrel! He pulls a bit on the leash when walking but he was just very excited. He grew to love us really quickly and was attached at the hip. He was super cuddly and snuggly once he relaxed in our apartment and just wanted to lay in our laps and get petted. He let us know when he needed to go out. He was anxious about noises from our neighbors and may do well in a home without as many noises. He was so sweet the whole time and very, very well behaved. He also loved looking out the window and watching." - Fast movements, new environments and new people can sometimes make him anxious, especially when things happen quickly, but he typically settles after a little time - Has lived with school-age children and may prefer children who are on the calmer, more mature side - Needs a home with no cats - May have allergies (more info at ARL) All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for age The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed.
