My Story
Maya girl is as sweet as honey. As her curiosity guides her everyday, her ears stand tall, but the second you give her a gentle chin, neck, or ear scratch; suddenly she turns into a mushy girl. She just melts with the slightest hint of love, and affection. Maya is absolutely willing to smother you in all of hers, as well; giving kisses, and gently placing her paw on you every chance she gets; as she just stares with her puppy dog eyes. She is simply irresistible! On the higher energy, yet stable-minded end of a cattle dog type mix, and around 2 years old, Maya is honestly very chill in general in comparison to others we've met. She will rest soundly at your feet, on your lap, or simply near you while you're busy, and only occasionally nudging you for some extra love. Otherwise, she is content within herself, and watching out the window. Don't get me wrong though, Maya does enjoy some playtime, her favorites are seemingly chase, of course! Romping with other dogs, and definitely STUFFIES! I simply can't put into words how well-behaved this girl is, other than being the ultimate rescue dog! Maya will do best with someone who is able to provide her with a doggy-door, or a fenced in yard to roam-or lay under the sun while you're away. Crates are simply not her thing, and free-roaming entirely alone leads to anxiety for her, unfortunately! However, if she's outside; she is 100% at peace with it!
