Maz

Hey all, I go by the name Maz but my big name is Maserati. Maz is much easier for me to remember. I came to SOCKS when I was attacked by a big ol dog that broke my jaw. It really hurt and I went to a doctor to get fixed up. I spent a lot of time with the dreaded cone and had 2 surgeries to fix me back up. I am all better now and am looking for an awesome forever home. I am a Mini Schnauzer and I love to run so I need a fenced yard. I would love to have another playful dog to run with me. I like kids to but I think they should be medium to bigger ones. I love to snuggle and will sit with you as long as you will let me. My foster mom will hold me a long time but then has to get up to take care of other stuff. I walk good on a leash and I know how to sit for a treat. I go potty outside but I may take a little while to know what I need to do at a new house. I am about 9 months old and I am a little guy at about 12 lbs. I have had all of my shots, ouch! and I have been HW tested. I have been neutered and am microchipped also. I guess I am an honorary cocker. My adoption fee is $500. SOCKS adopts to families in Florida, Georgia, Southern Alabama and southeastern Mississippi. If you are out of the state of Florida you would need to travel to Florida to complete your adoption. Please note that we do check vet references and your current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, Heartworm testing and be able to provide proof of purchase of HW prevention. All dogs and cats in your home must be spayed or neutered. We will not set up a meet and greet until your application has been received, reviewed and approved. Adoptions are not done on a first come first served basis. We will accept applications and then screen all and choose the best match.
