My Story

Please contact Destiny Sibert ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.small sweetie seeking safety and love! MCLAURIN NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: McLaurin Best Guess for Breed: Chihuahua mix Best Guess for Age: 4 years as of February 2025 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 14.6 lbs Gets Along With: McLaurin does well with other dogs and needs to go to a home with a confifent, friendly resident dog. We haven't seen him with cats but he can be tested if you have them. Currently Living at: DC area foster home Special adoption considerations: Because McLaurin is shy, he needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog. We would be cautious placing McLaurin in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare shy dogs with their level of energy or noise. Children would need to be supervised closely to not leave doors open and should never walk the dog without an adult holding the leash. We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant. McLaurin is Looking For: His forever home! Through no fault of his own, this small sweetie landed in the shelter. He's eagerly looking forward to once again having his own humans, to being loved and giving love. Mc Laurin is so very small and the world is such a big place. He's looking for extra patient and loving adopters who understand that, and give McLaurin a calm and nurturing environment where he can settle in and blossom into the amazing dog he is! A friendly resident dog will show him all is well and how to dog in his new home. In exchange he promises all the love in his little body, adoring gazes, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Is there a McLaurin-shaped gap in your lap and your life? What My Foster Says About Me: Coming soon! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.
