Alley is a ham, see big goofy grin picture. She can be pretty strong on the leash when she’s determined but seems more like stress of her new surroundings. In the lot Alley was distracted most of the time running end to end checking out the activity and owner searching. Alley sat on command but wasn’t interested in my treats or toys. She allowed for handling.

The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.
Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
