Danika is a sweet and gentle puppy who will melt your heart with her calm and affectionate nature. She is a sweet Texas girl who has traveled all the way to Washington in search of her forever home. Born to a stray pit bull mix, and with a father who is likely a Labrador Retriever, Danika brings the best of both breeds. At just 5 months old, she is currently 25 pounds and expected to grow to about 40-50 pounds.
Danika is incredibly social with both people and dogs, making friends wherever she goes. Though she hasn’t been tested with cats, her gentle and adaptable nature suggests she would do well with feline friends after a proper introduction.
Described as the friendliest, calmest, cuddliest, and most well-behaved puppy ever, Danika strikes the perfect balance between playful and serene. She enjoys playing with her doggie companions but can also be found quietly observing her surroundings. She loves to cuddle and chew on her toys, making her an ideal companion for cozy nights at home.
She has lived harmoniously with five other dogs of various sizes and ages, as well as a 6-year-old boy who absolutely adores her, Danika has proven to be wonderful with children as young as 1 year old. She has also been great in public settings, accompanying her foster mom to a clinic and visiting a brewery with her foster dad.
Danika is both potty and kennel trained, and she knows the commands "sit" and "kennel." Her calm demeanor, combined with her love for cuddles and play, makes her a perfect addition to any family looking for a loyal and affectionate companion.
