This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Thank you!** Meet Mercury - a 14 week old, Hound mix, who weighs 23 pounds (as of 10/29/24). This sweet girl and her sister, Lucy Liu, were born into a family of people who did not care for them (or want them). We were on a rescue mission to help another litter of unwanted pups, and happened to find them... we're sad we didn't get there sooner because we were too late to save their momma and siblings. We are happy we were able to scoop up these sweet girls and bring them to safety. These girls are now thriving and are happy & healthy! We know these pups are going to be fun and loving additions to their forever families, and will be loyal companions once they grow up. They love other pups and love being around children. We know their momma and dad were roughly 50 pounds. Lucy Liu and Mercury can't wait to meet their future families! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
