Merlot

Meet Merlot, a 5 year old English Bulldog mix, approximately weighing 49 pounds. Merlot, a charming canine resident at our local shelter. Her personality is as delightful as the fine wine she's named after. Her sweet nature is apparent in the way she interacts with both humans and her fellow shelter mates. She's friendly to all she meets, always ready to wag her tail in greeting. Merlot's gentle spirit is sure to bring joy to any home. Despite her current circumstances, Merlot remains positive and cheerful. Her resilience is a testament to her strong character. Adopting Merlot would not only give her the loving home she deserves, but also provide a loyal and loving companion for life. Merlot will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. We don't know how she will do with cats. Merlot is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and ready to go home today!
