My Story

Mia so deserves to be treated like a princess after what this sweetie has been through. Mia was found as a stray, and she was one hurting pup! She had a bad injury and sadly she had to have a leg removed. But she has been so sweet during her recovery and is very ready for a loving, kind home. Mia was able to spend her recovery time in a foster home and this is what her foster said about her: Mia is the sweetest little pitty! She has spent her days in foster care cuddlingon the couch and enjoying the fall weather on her walks. She is a quicklearner, and quickly became comfortable with my roommate and I and our friends. She knows how to sit, responds to "no" (when trying to get in our beds), and is very gentle in her demeanor. She is great on the leash, does not pull too much, and is not reactive to passing dogs. She is curious about passing people on walks, and has done amazing in all of her people interactions outside on the leash. She really is a people dog! She is potty trained, even when having to take the elevator in our apartment to get outside. Only having three legs does not stop her and she is working on building up the strength in her other legs on her walks! And she is light enough that when she faces things like stairs, she is easily picked up! She is fine being left alone for hours at a time and gets so excited when she sees her people again! Can you please visit her soon and make her dreams come true? This lovely and quite pretty one-year-old pooch with a delightful waggy tail just wants nice beds, great meals, fun walks but most importantly, she wants to be part of a wonderful family. The Princess shall see you now! Check out Mia's video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTtnx7uGDIc
