Mickey & Mazey

2 cute, senior, sausages looking for a new couch to spend their days away on! Mickey and Mazey. Their owner passed away, and while they have been in the care of family for the last month, it was not something that was able to continue long term. These two are about 13 years old. They’ve clearly got some health things going on, overweight, fatty lumps and bumps, Mickey’s cherry eye, etc. We’re hoping to get them on a good diet, help them loose some weight, and see if we can make the rest of their golden years as comfortable as possible! And of course, while we do everything we can here at the shelter, it’s not the best place for senior pups who just want to be comfortable and to sleep the day away in their comfy spot and hang with their favorite people. They lived with a cat and are not seeming to mind the other dogs at the shelter. We think they are probably mostly housetrained but with old pups like this, we wouldn't count on it being 100% anymore. We assume Mickey to be a pug/puggle mix and Mazey to be maybe a heeler or terrier mix. We are searching for fosters or adopters for these two. They have never been apart and we’d rather not start that now, so hoping for the two to go together.
