Born in mid-August, Midnight’s journey is one of survival, resilience, and hope. After a devastating incident where two mother dogs were intentionally poisoned after giving birth to 16 puppies, only one mama survived, though she was too sick to nurse. Sadly, the other mother had already passed away. Thanks to the teamwork of multiple rescues, all of the puppies and the surviving mama were saved, though the puppies had to quickly learn to bottle-feed without their mother's care. Midnight was one of those fighters, and through love and nurturing, he’s blossomed into a happy and healthy pup! Now thriving in his foster home, Midnight Milky Way has proven to be the sweetest little cuddle bug. He is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, always ready to chase toys or curl up in your arms for cozy snuggles. Whether he’s exploring the yard or taking a nap, Midnight’s personality shines through with his gentle, loving nature. His soft, sleek coat and expressive eyes add to his charm, making him impossible to resist! OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
